Andrew Haldenby appeared on ‘The Jeremy Vine Show’ to discuss recent remarks by Simon Stevens about rethinking certain pensioner protections, such as bus passes, in order to fund social care.
Andrew argued that it is “great” that Simon is asking a bigger question around health and pensions spending and how it can be spent most intelligently. Spending the money better, including creating a health and social care system that works better, would be in the interests of older people.
