The Economist, 26 March 2016

In an article published by the Economist, Reform‘s research was cited with regards to the issue of welfare reform. The author looked at whether the government’s policies were increasingly hitting the poor rather than the rich.

To quote, “Making unemployment benefit stingier (Reform, a think-tank, reckons it will be worth £550 a year less in 2020 than in 2010) may do more to reduce the living standards of the jobless than make them likelier to find work.”
