The Economist, 15 April 2016

The Economist published an article on the issue of waiting times in A&E, which cited findings from Reform‘s report, Who cares? The future of general practice.

In it, the article highlighted growing pressures on A&E departments. This rise in demand is mirrored in other areas, such as general practice. Lakeside Healthcare was cited as a possible example to tackle the issue, and Andrew Haldenby, Director of Reform, was quoted:

“The current government’s pre-election promise to smooth the path between health and social care has yet to have much effect, says Andrew Haldenby of Reform, a think-tank.”
