Reform Director Andrew Haldenby was quoted in an article by the Mail on Sunday on the issue of NHS reform:

“Andrew Haldenby, director of think-tank Reform, said: ‘The Mail on Sunday’s incredibly timely poll reveals that the public is much, much more open-minded on how to fund healthcare than any political party is willing to discuss.

‘That’s very important because the Government is still wrestling with a spending review, where it has to decide NHS funding for the next five years.’

He added: ‘Medical groups such as the British Medical Association are arguing very strongly at the moment for big increases in the NHS budget, all funded by taxation. This poll does not support that.’”
