How to position London and the UK in the global economy

Reform is delighted to have Gerard Lyons, Chief Economic Adviser to the Greater London Authority, give a dinner speech on, “How to position London and the UK in the global economy”

The global economy is in a state of flux. Globalisation has diminished the importance of distance and increased global interdependencies. This leaves the UK more vulnerable to international financial and economic trends, market instabilities and inequality. This dinner will provide an opportunity to discuss how London and the UK can leverage their strengths to exploit the opportunities of the globalised economy.

Reform will bring together a senior group of experts to discuss these issues and the potential policy implications.

Invite only.
