I joined Reform in July 2017 as a Research Assistant. I am interested in policy issues focusing on social justice, social mobility and housing. I have worked on projects related to data sharing, higher education access, blockchain and civil service reform.
Before joining Reform, I completed a PhD at the University of Manchester in Chinese studies. This was a history-based PhD, which demonstrated the impact of Anglo-Chinese relations on British liberal thought in the mid-nineteenth century. I have taught several courses within Manchester’s history department and, in addition, have worked as a research and editorial assistant. In early 2017, I founded a political journal that aimed to ensure evidence-based commentary on current affairs.
